Charles Deaton Building
One weekend in February 2016 I decided to head out pre-dawn to a local gem of a building that's been hiding in plain sight for fifty years. It is the (f.k.a.) Key Savings and Loan building located on Hampden & Broadway in Englewood, CO.
Designed by Charles Deaton and built in 1965/66, the building features a nautilus shape at its north entrance and a large oval window on its south side overlooking Little Dry Creek.
